SAT – Eager guests consciously listened to the Welcome Safety Briefing. Done with all formalities of signing papers & verifying certifications, the dive groups settled with their DMs in setting up dive gears before we departed for the Tubbataha Reefs. A dinner of Steamed Lobster set the tone for the excitement that filled the air.

SUN – Our first diving day at Malayan Wreck gave us fruitful sightings of the resident reef fish in abundant numbers as guests enjoyed taking pics of Harlequin Sweetlips hanging out at the old wreckage. A school of about 50 Bumphead Parrot Fish cast a spell of eloquent beauty on our divers. A second dive at Malayan Wreck proved to be a Manta show that hanged out for a few minutes. Shark Airport became a show for baby Grey Reef Sharks for our 3rd dive. Sea Fan Alley for the last dive of the day gave us incredible spotting of a Pygmy Seahorse, a creature less than 1/4th of an inch amidst a vast body of water.

MON – A repeat dive at Shark Airport gave us an early morning communion with baby Whitetip Sharks as a big school of Big Eye Jacks hover for all of us to enjoy. Dive 2 still at Shark Airport became a Manta Show as 2 huge individuals seem to be curious enough to swim around our divers for about 5 minutes. The last dive of the day at Shark Airport gives you a feeling of never having enough of the place. 2 Hawksbill Turtles came so close while feeding on hard corals & soft sponges reminding us who owns the sea & that we are merely passive observers.

TUES – Delsan Crack greeted us with an early morning sighting of 6 turtles, a mix of Green Turtles & Hawksbill Turtles of varying sizes. On the way to our safety stop a schooling tornado of Big Eye Jacks were curiously coming close, a school of Chevron Barracuda approximately numbering to 200 also showed up. A group of baby Grey Reef Sharks were harnessing their hunting skills. A 3rd dive to Staghorn Point gave our divers this euphoric feeling of watching beauty in it’s magnificent magnitude as undulating fields of Staghorn Corals reflect back on our eyes. To end the day, the last dive of the day at Delsan gave us an interesting observation of about 29 Hawksbill & Green Turtles getting into deeper water as the low tide set in.

WED – Black Rock for an early morning gave us a mild current drift to enjoy the usual residents of a small school of Bumphead Parrot Fish. Ditto with the Whitetip Sharks & Grey Reef Sharks. A second dive at Black Rock proved to be a show for reef fish, Blunt Nose Surgeon Fish were aplenty while schooling Jacks made a tornado show. Ko Ok for dive 3 showcased the beautiful topography of asymmetrical hard corals that only Tubbataha possesses. An Octopus made an appearance, once more schooling Jacks showed up & a Marble Ray was spotted.
