Itabaca Channel - Punta Carrion:
Many whitetipped Sharks, Tigersnake Eel, Mobularays, Golden Cownose Rays, many Tropical Fishes.
Roca Blanca, Cowley Island, Cabo Marshall:
Manta-Rays, Many playful Sealions, many whitetipped Sharks, many Tropical Fishes, Mobularays, Golden Cownose Rays.
Cardumen of Salemas.
Wolf Island:
Only some Hammerhead Sharks and Galapagos Sharks, many Eaglerays.
Yellow Fin Tunas, Scorpionfish, King-Angel Fish, School of Snappers, Flounder.
Pufferfishes, Barracudas, Trumpetfish, Lots of big green Pacific Seaturtles, Lobster, many fine spotted moray Eels.
Indopacific Bonito, many playful Sealions and FurSeals. Dolphins.
Darwin Island:
Galapagos Sharks, Green Pacific Sea-Turtles, Scorpionfish, King-Angel Fish, Eels.
Isabela and Fernandina Island:
Many Marine Iguanas, Red lipped Batfish, Galapagos Sea-Robins, Flightless Cormorants and Penguins, some Seahorses.
Pelicans, Bluefooted Boobies, Pacific Beakfish, many playful Sealions, many Eaglerays. Snorkeling at Isabela Island with Penguins.
Dive Conditions:
Currents: mild, moderate Currents at Cowley and also Wolf Island. Moderate Currents at Isabela, Fernandina and Darwin Island.
Visibility: very good 80 - 100ft. at Darwin and Wolf Island.
Visibility at Fernandina very good 70 – 90ft. Isabela also very good 60 - 90ft.
Water Temperature: Up in the north at Darwin and Wolf Island 27C (79F).
In the west Part of the Islands fresher but mild, about 24C (75F).
Weather & Temperature:
During the Week very sunny and very mild, also at Darwin and Wolf Islands and at the western Part of the Islands.
End of the Cruise sunny at the Channel. Very sunny at the Land Visit at the Highlands and also at the Town Puerto Ayora of Santa Cruz.
Air Temperature mild 29C - 32C. (84F - 88F).
Navigation:
The Navigation up to the North and the western Part of the Islands and at the center Islands mostly very calm during this Week.
The Navigation back to the Itabaca Channel at Santa Cruz also very calm.
Landtours:
First Landtour on Bartholome Island, beautiful Landscape and a spectacular View. Landscape of Lava, with Lavacactus and Lavalizards.
Coast Exploration with the Dinghy's to see Penguins, Birds, Sealions and the famous Pinnacle-Rock. Snorkeling at Isabela Island with Penguins.
Second Landtour on Santa Cruz Island at the Highlands to see the Giant Galapagos Tortoises.
Then later visiting the Town Puerto Ayora. Shopping Time. At Night Dinner at the Town.
