    Jhon Carlos Yepez

    Captain

    Born and raised in Galapagos on the Island San Cristobal, Jhon is also an original Galapagueño! At the age of 14, he went to Quito to study and graduate in Physics and Mathematics. After that he came back to San Cristobal and worked 6 Years in the Meteorological Service to provide USA with data from the Galapagos Islands.

    When he was 26, he began working on ships. First as a Fisherman than in the Tourism Industry. He later earned his Captain License and was then hired as the first Captain of the Galapagos Aggressor in 1992!     Rufin Chele

    Captain

    Captain Chele was born and raised in Ecuador.  When he was 20 Years old, he came to the Galapagos Island, San Cristobal. There he entered the Ecuadorian Navy. After he finished his marine Skills, Rufino went back to the Continent of Ecuador and worked for 4 years as a Fisherman. He later returned to the Galapagos Islands to work in the Tourism Industry.

    Rufino joined the Galapagos Aggressor in 1993 as Dingy-Driver and deck hand. He eventually earned his  Captain License and has captained the Galapagos Aggressor since 2011.

    Stefan Tinner

    Cruise Director

    Stefan was born and raised in Switzerland. He trained to become an Electronics and Computer Scientist. Instead, he graduated with a degree in Sales, Accounting and Marketing. Stefan worked in Switzerland as a Store and Project Manager for a High-End Brand for sophisticated customers.

    He came to the Galapagos Islands in 2006 and is now a resident of the Islands. He learned to dive in here in 2009 and has traveled and dived all around the world. Stefan is a licensed captain for private yachts. Onboard the Galapagos Aggressor III he serves as Cruise Director and is proud to welcome our guests to this Dream Destination.

    Walter Torres

    Galapagos Naturalist Guide and Dive Guide

    Born and raised also in Ecuador, Walter worked as a bartender in different restaurant and hotels. He came to Galapagos Island to further his career. He joined the Galapagos Aggressor as a Steward then studied and earned his License as a Galapagos Naturalist and Dive Guide in 1997.

    Juan Jose Zuñiga

    Chef

    As a teenager, Juan started work as baker in his home country of Ecuador. He later worked as an assistant in the transport business. At 19 he began his studies for work in the Food and Beverage industry. Juan Jose likes the experimental style of cooking, like mixing of traditional Ecuadorian cuisine with an international touch.

    He has worked for 10 Years as Chef and it is his passion. Juan Jose joined Galapagos Aggressor through a recommendation and started full time in 2020. He is very motivated share his passion with our guests!

    Manuel Vallejos

    Engineer

    As a young boy growing up in Guayaquil, Ecuador, Manuel was always interested in Technology and Mechanics. At 14, he started working in a mechanical workshop. He repaired and maintained all kinds of big stuff like Excavators, Cranes and Trucks.

    When he was 33, he had the opportunity to work on both Aggressor Yachts las a part-time employee. In 1994 he became a full-time crew member and now, head engineer. He knows this yacht inside and out.

    Vincent Rosales

    Engineer

    Born and raised in Ecuador, Vicente was interested in technical and mechanical things from a very young age. At the age of 18 Vicente started working on ships all around Ecuador.

    He joined the Galapagos Aggressor in 1994. Vicente is also one of the nitrox mixers onboard and makes sure that our guests always have the best nitrox mix.

    Raul Saquinga

    Assistant Chef and Assistant Engineer

    Born and raised in Ecuador, Raul came to Galapagos when he was 21 years old for work in the restaurant and service industry. He later began working on tour boats and joined the Galapagos Aggressor in 2016.

    In addition to his chef and engineer duties, Raul also mixes and refills the nitrox tanks and is always available to offer a helpful hand to our guests on deck.

    Junior Yapez

    First Mate, Dinghy Driver

    Born and raised in Galapagos on the Island San Cristobal, Junior is an original Galapagueño! As a young man he worked as a Marine on different boats for daily tours.

    Junior joined Galapagos Aggressor in the 2002. He helps our guests with their dive equipment before and after the dive and makes sure that divers are transported safely from the Yacht to the Dive-site and back.

    Omar Romero

    First Mate, Dinghy Driver

    Omar was born and raised in Ecuador. He studied physic and mathematics in Ecuador then he came to work in Galapagos. He continued his studies and graduated as a Professional Builder. He worked for 3 years in the Construction Business then as a Fisherman and then got his License to work on ships.

    Since 2007 Omar has been part of the Galapagos Aggressor Crew. He helps guests with their dive equipment before and after the dive and makes sure the divers are delivered safely from the yacht to the Dive-site and back. Omar always has a big smile.

    Ruben Intriago

    Steward

    Ruben was born and raised in Ecuador. He began working as a young teenager and did a little of everything. At the age of 27 Years, he came to Galapagos and worked in different Restaurants. Later he began working on Boats also. He decided to get his License as a Galapagos Dive Guide.

    Ruben joined Galapagos Aggressor in 2007 and worked until 2018 as a Dive-guide. Now he is working as a steward onboard and enjoys taking care of our guest.
