Saturday 22 September:

Kona Aggressor II welcomes aboard 10 new guests this week. After everyone is acquainted with their new home for the week, Captain Mike formally introduced the guests to their crew, and the yacht. Our guests are familiarized with the yacht, it’s safety features, and its amenities. Their first dinner aboard was Grilled Ono with a Pineapple Remoulade, and Strawberry Shortcake for dessert. Andres will get his Enriched Air Certification with us this week.

 

Sunday 23 September: The day started with a Dive Deck Briefing with Matt. Our guests got accustomed with their weights, cameras, and gear. Spotted today in the underwater realm: Frogfish, Green Sea Turtle, Day Octopus, Pustulose Phyllidia, Varicose Phyllidia, Undulated Moray, White Mouth Moray, Yellow Margin, Zebra Moray, and playful Mantas during the night dive.

Our Dinner of Grilled Beef Short Ribs with Chimichurri rounded out the day.

 

Monday 24 September: A calm ocean and clear skies started the day. Interesting finds underwater today included: Titan Scorpionfish, Leaf Scorpionfish, Hawaiian Cleaner Wrasse, Spiny Lobster, Slipper Lobster, Regal Lobster, Frogfish, Cusk Eel, Hawaiian Conger Eel, Octopus.

Morning Snack was Apple Strudel, which disappeared quickly.

 

Tuesday 25 September: This morning we continued South along the breath-taking coast of Kona. Under the water we found: Gold Lace Nudibranch, White Tip Shark, Octopus, Jeweled Anemone Crab, Triton’s Trumpet, Freckled Snake Eel, Sailfin Tang, Dragon Wrasse.

Welcoming nourishment came in the form of Ham & Cheese Croissants for the Morning Snack.

 

Wednesday 26 September: Another beautiful sunrise to start the day. Today Katherine completed her 100th dive! Sightings today included: Frogfish, Day Octopus, Round Spot Octopus, Spotted Eagle Ray, Peacock Razor Wrasse, Red Striped Pipefish, Blue Dragon Nudibranch, Dwarf Moray, Titan Scorpionfish, Long Spine Porcupinefish.

The day started with a Breakfast of Huevos Rancheros, Home Fries, & Smoked Sausage.

 

Thursday 27 September: We started our journey North today. Jody celebrated her Birthday with us and a Whale Shark!!! Happy Birthday, Jody! We also saw: Psychedelic Wrasse, Red Stripe Pipefish, Long Nose Hawkfish, Razor Wrasse, Dragon Wrasse, White Tip Shark, White Margin Moray.

Dinner of Seared Scallops, Prime Rib, Smashed Red Bliss Potatoes, & Brussel Sprouts satisfied everyone’s hunger.

 

Friday 28 September: The last day of diving for our guests this week. The guests Hawaiian Aloha dive included: Octopus, Green Sea Turtle, Zebra Eel, Titan Scorpionfish. Calm seas with good visibility all week, today was no exception. Linda did dive number 1,800 today. Congratulations Linda!

 

Sunset Cocktail Party was under a clear sky with gentle breezes and easy smiles, as the crew and guests shared stories and jokes.
