Sunday 11th March 2017

Today is arrival day on board the Indo aggressor with great excitement we welcomed 13 Guests from USA, Canada and the UK. Due to late arrivals we had no time to dive but enjoyed a beautiful sunset on the way to an island known as Gili Lawa Darat. Arriving in time for our first dinner together.

Sunday 12th March 2017

We began our day with a check out dive in the bay of GLD. Crystal clear warm water welcomed us. Highlights included leaf scorpion fish, broadclub cuttlefish, nudibranchs and white tip reef sharks.

Our second dive was at Tatawa Besar, a very gentle drift dive over a beautiful sloping reef. Highlights included: white tip reef sharks, leaf scorpionfish, nudibranchs and lots of hawksbill turtles.

Our second dive was at Makasar reef where we hoped to find mantas. Highlights included manta rays, black tip reef sharks and green turtles.

Our night dive was at Spanish step. Highlights included nudibranchs, dwarf cuttlefish, squid and white tip reef sharks.

Monday 13th March 2017

We began our day diving at Golden Passage, an exciting drift dive between Komodo and GLD. Highlights included giant trevally, black tip reef sharks, barracuda’s and schooling batfish.

The second dive was at Batu Bolong, an incredible pinnacle dive covered in schooling anthias. Highlights included giant trevally, napoleon wrasse, octopus and a manta ray.

We then headed to the north of Rinja Island and anchored just off the island of Wainilu in preparation for our official dragon trekking experience. We had close encounters with Komodo Dragons, monkeys, Timor deer and wild pigs.

The group that went diving at Wainilu had many sightings of ribbon eels, moray eels, nudibranchs and cuttlefish.

The night dive was at Wainilu as well. Highlights included rhinopias, dwarf cuttlefish, nudibranchs and a wide array of crustaceans.

Tuesday 14th March 2017

We began our day diving at Batu Bolong, all guest enjoyed this reef so much yesterday that everyone was super excited to go back there one last time before we start heading towards Bali. Highlights included napoleon wrasse, dog toothed tuna, hawksbill turtles and giant trevallys.

The second dive was at Mauan, this is where we hoped to see manta rays, unfortunately no manta rays but we did have sightings of hawksbill turtles, black tip reef sharks and white tip reef sharks.

The third dive was at Siaba Besar, this sandy slope is home to an incredible array of macro life. Highlights included: hairy seahorse, pipefish, nudibranchs and spiny devilfish.

The night dive was at Coral Garden. Highlights included nudibranchs, leaf scorpion fish, cuttlefish and a wide array of crustaceans.

Wednesday 15th March 2017

We began our day diving just north of Gili Lawa Laut on an exciting pinnacle known as Castle Rock. Highlights included white tip reef sharks, free swimming moray, schooling trevally, giant trevally, napoleon wrasse and dolphins.

Our second dive was at Crystal Rock another wonderful pinnacle with many sightings of white tip reef sharks, napoleon wrasse, jacks, schooling surgeon fish and an assortment of various reef fish.

Our third dive was at the famous drift dive known as Shotgun. Highlights included white tips, giant trevally, hawksbill and green turtles.

Our night dive was at Coral Garden highlights included Spanish Dancers, a variety of other nudis, carrier crabs, decorator crabs and dwarf cuttlefish.

Thursday 16th March 2017

In the early hours we headed west to Banta Island. We began our day diving at K2 a great wall slope combination. Highlights included frogfish, juvenile barramundi, juvenile emperor angel fish, leaf scorpion fish and nudis.

We then moved to Rollercoaster an incredible wall and slope combination. Highlights included manta rays, banded sea snake, schooling jacks, whip coral shrimp, pygmy seahorse and a giant marble stingray.

Our third dive was at West Point highlights included spectacular corals, ribbon eels, nudibranchs and white tip reef sharks.

Our night dive was at Circus highlights included stargazers, stonefish, leaf scorpion fish, dwarf cuttlefish, twin spotted lionfish, harlequin snake eels and white V octopus.

Friday 17th March 2017

Early this morning we headed for the volcano Sangeang. We began our day diving at Hot Rock, a reef slope with bubbles coming out of the volcanic sand. Highlights included frogfish, mantis shrimp, decorated crabs and a wide array of nudibranchs.

The second dive was at Mike’s Reef, another dive over black volcanic sand. Highlights included pink leaf scorpion fish, ornate ghost pipefish, nudibranchs, frogfish, mantis shrimp and a wide array of crustaceans.

The third dive was at Bonto, highlights included frogfish, nudibranchs, mantis shrimp and lots of head shield slugs.

The night dive was at Bonto as well. Highlights included frogfish, ghostpipefish, mantis shrimp and a wide array of nudibranchs.

Saturday 18th March 2017

This morning we arrived on the north coast of Sumbawa at an island called Satonda. Our first dive was at Satonda Reef, a sandy reef slope with lots of bommies to be discovered. Highlights included mantis shrimp, nudibranchs, lobsters and a wide array of crustaceans.

The second dive was at Jake’s reef another sandy reef slope. Highlights included: spearing mantis shrimp, nudibranchs, ghostpipefish and hawksbill turtles.

The third dive was at Tanjung, a reef slope that consists of coral rubble. Highlights included moray eels, blue spotted stingrays, nudibranchs and a wide array of crustaceans.

The night dive was at Tanjung as well. Highlights included matting octopus, cuttlefish, ribbon eels and nudibranchs.

Sunday 19th March 2017

This morning we arrived at Moyo Island.

Our first dive was at Moyo Reef, a submerged seamount with crystal clear water and populated by large schools of fish. Highlights included: spotted eagle ray, nudibranchs, moray eels and blue spotted stingrays.

The second dive was at Angel Reef, a stunning wall dive covered in beautiful corals. Highlights included giant trevally, moray eels, black tip reef sharks and leaf scorpionfish.

After the second dive we hoisted the anchor and prepared for our 20 hour journey to Bali.

Monday 20th March 2017

After making good progress at night we arrived after 19 hours in Padangbai Bali.

Our first dive site was at the Padangbai jetti. Highlights included giant frogfish, nudibranchs, mantis shrimp and a wide array of crustaceans.

The second dive was at Blue Lagoon. Highlights included mantis shrimp, spotted eagle rays and a wide array of nudibranchs.

On returning to the boat we hoisted the sails and guests got the opportunity to have a final photo of the Indo aggressor in all her glory. On our way back to port guests enjoyed a farewell cocktail party followed by a viewing of the official trip video and a small award ceremony. We then enjoyed a farewell dinner together on board the Indo Aggressor. Sadly tomorrow is departure day and guests disembark.
